Sung Joo Hyun won the GGPoker Super MILLION heads-up against Dario Sammartino
Sung Joo Hyun was able to on February 15
after outlasting a field of seven opponents and overcoming Dario Sammartino in the heads-up round, win a Super MILLION$ championship. After working his way up to the last round and making it to the final table with a small stack, Dario's defeat was difficult.

With eight players at the final table for the GGPoker tournament, Daniel Dvoress was comfortably in third place and enjoying himself. The past Super MILLION$ champion, however, would be ousted in the ninth spot. Early on, he suffered a significant loss and was never able to recover his stack.
Online player "joyeux" was the next to go, and in seventh place, online player "pitrasyan" was eliminated. Aleks Ponakovs and Yannick Schumacher would proceed together, leaving Dario, Hyun, Rui Ferreira, and spaise411 at the table.
Spaise411 would eventually lose against Hyun and be eliminated. Hyun made a call with the suited A-10 after Spaise411 had all-in with the Q-J. The ten on the flop allowed Hyun to win the hand and knock out his fourth-place rival.
Due to Hyun and a full house on the river, Ferreira was eliminated next, leaving Hyun and Dario to battle in the heads-up round. With 18.5 million chips to Dario's 5.5 million, Hyun enjoyed a sizable chip advantage. The last hand would soon be dealt, and it wouldn't take long.
Hyun would call after Dario had shoved with K-Q. On the flip, a king was dealt, but an ace on the river gave Hyun the hand and an out. Dario would have to be satisfied with second place.
Version GGMasters Overlay
As the GGPoker Super MILLION$ comes to a close, the website is constantly being updated with fresh content. The GGMasters Overlay Edition is coming up in March, and the online poker club is getting ready. The normal GGMasters will be the special event, but with a larger prize pool.
Players may participate in the GGMasters on March 20 for the identical $150 buy-in, but the prize pool will rise to $5 million. More than 36,000 participants will need to register and participate in order to meet the guarantee. Naturally, that is a large amount, and GGPoker anticipates an overlay, hence the event's name.
